The weekend of 24th and 25th February saw eighteen Greater Manchester Short Mat bowlers travel down to Solihull IBC to represent our county at the ESMBA National Mixed 4s and Over 55s Finals. The teams, sporting their new for 2024 shirts sponsored by TPS, did very well against the best competition from around the country getting to the last 16 in the Mixed 4s and quarter finals in the Over 55s. Unfortunately they weren’t able to bring home any trophies this year but we’re certain our Mixed 4s and Over 55 teams will give it a good go next year and we’re hoping for great results from the rest of our teams at Solihull and Melton Mowbray.
