Last weekend saw 100 bowlers and spectators from across Greater Manchester attend Etherow IBC for the end of season Stockport Indoor Bowling League Cup Knockouts. We’re proud to report that our very own Greater Manchester club, Brinnington, took home the Mike Biggs Cup for 2024 after their “A” team beat 21 other teams over four rounds played throughout the 2023/24 season. The final proved to be a very close affair with both Brinnington “A”, and their opponents, Poynton “C”, finishing on 48 points each before each pair played two “extra” ends that saw Brinnington claim the extra points they needed to clinch the win.
