Three of Greater Manchester’s young super stars recently visited Bro Myrddin Bowls Club in Carmarthen, to join the rest of the Under 21s England Short Mat Bowling team in taking on the Welsh Under 21 team in their annual international match. Whilst the team weren’t successful in retaining their trophy this year, the overall result was very close and Greater Manchester’s representatives certainly did themselves and our County proud through their achievements on the day.
We are lucky to have some very promising young bowlers in Greater Manchester but we are always looking for more, and so too are the ESMBA England Under 21s academy.
