Today saw the first of Greater Manchester’s National Qualifier events take place at Etherow IBC. The event, which saw 16 competitive bowlers play in great spirits throughout the day, went down a storm with all who attended. Players battled it out in four groups of 4 before the top two from each group went through to the quarter final stage.
Whilst there was some fantastic bowling on display throughout the event, ultimately Peter Roberts was able to take the win in a closely fought final against Ben Holbrook which finished 10-6. Meanwhile, Ash Sayer and Mike Anderson competed for 3rd and 4th place and Ash was able to take the win with an 8-7 finish.
